THE CMSA FOUNDATION – ELEVATING THE PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE OF CASE MANAGEMENT THROUGH SUPPORT
The mission and vision of the CMSA Foundation are to elevate the practice of case management and case managers as they lead in improving health outcomes and quality of life for those we serve. The Foundation provides grants, research and process improvement funding for individuals and organizations to share evidence-based and best practices. This funding is supported only through donations and sponsorships.
The Foundation board of directors has been working diligently to increase awareness of the Foundation and to increase donations. For the first time in several years, full support for awards and grants in research process improvement and public policy may become a reality. This reality will come to fruition only if the support of our members continues.
There are many ways to support the Foundation:
Become a monthly recurring donor for as little as $10 per month
One-time donation
Donations in honor or memory of someone special
Employer matching: see if your employer will match your donation
Purchase swag from the Foundation store
Participate in one of the unique campaigns conducted throughout the year
The Foundation will be conducting two exceptional campaigns this spring and summer. CMSA Conference attendees can participate in a raffle for a special event during the conference. Stay tuned for more details!
The next big campaign will be a raffle for the 2024 Conference package. The Foundation conducts a raffle for one lucky case manager to attend the annual conference each year. Included in the package are the main conference registration and a three-night hotel stay. The raffle will begin during the 2023 conference and continue through July. Your support could result in winning a great prize!
We are accepting entries for the Case Management Research and Process Improvement Awards this March. If you or your organization have solved a problem with case management intervention, this is your opportunity to share your excellent work with the greater case management community. Winners receive $1,500.00 and the opportunity to present their project or research in an article in CMSA and a webinar.
The CMSA Foundation will be accepting nominations for the executive board this March. Vacancies include president-elect, treasurer and director. We welcome CMSA members to serve on the Foundation and help us to achieve our mission and vision.
